Mary Assumpta Nassali
Mary Assumpta Nassali is the Founder of Blessed Reign Initiative, a faith-rooted organisation advancing women’s financial independence, purposeful leadership and responsible stewardship. She is a Christian women’s mentor who draws her experience from years of having holistic conversations with women on spiritual, emotional, professional and financial wellbeing.
She started, manages and oversees a group of about 80 women under a Bible study women’s group. She also started, manages and oversees three women’s savings groups leveraging about UGX 100,000,000, with the purpose of helping women earn, save and invest. She is a Finance Management Consultant with Crossline Management Solutions, overseeing the Financial Management arm of clients of the business.
A finance, operations and people leader with over 14 years of experience, Mary has worked across banking, government, business consulting and the non-profit sector. She began her career at Centenary Bank, where she supervised more than 30 tellers and managed daily banking operations and compliance. At the Dairy Development Authority, she managed project finances and supported revolving-fund beneficiaries with financial management, risk assessment and repayment accountability.
As Finance and Administration Manager at Vijana Corps, Mary led finance, human resources and procurement functions, strengthened organisational controls, managed donor compliance, and oversaw the financial management of multi-million-dollar donor grant projects.
Mary is a member of ICPAU and a Fellow of ACCA, holding an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management and Accounting respectively. Inspired by her Christian faith and personal entrepreneurial journey, she founded Blessed Reign to help women earn, keep, grow and steward resources well while supporting mission-led organisations to build strong and trustworthy financial systems.
